An Atlantic City, New Jersey School Board candidate appears to be the victim of intimidation tactics by unknown person(s).

We conducted an in depth (off-air) interview with Ron Bailey yesterday, on the day before Election Day.

Bailey believes that he knows exactly who is behind the dirty tricks.

However, what you know versus what you can prove are two different things.

Bailey is asking for a thorough investigation, which he believes will lead right to the culprit(s).

Here is a transcript of what Bailey told us about two separate incidents that caused him to file complaints with the Atlantic City Police Department.

Today 11/4, I filed two separate complaints with the Atlantic City Police Department in regards to two separate incidents that occurred both are believed to be related and both appear to be a intimidation tactic by someone within Atlantic City,

In the first incident I was informed by the Board of Elections as well as several other reliable sources that someone had sent an email to the Board of Elections making serious false and baseless claims about me, and the second complaint that was filed we believe the same actors who sent the email were also responsible for making a false service order ticket through the Atlantic City Electric website for my home address to have my power turned off claiming that I was moving out of the residence this evening which is also untrue.

I find it hard to believe that people would stoop to a level so low to go after their political opponents, their families, and attack someone's integrity because they disagree with someone standing up for what is right in their community.

It is my hope that the person or persons involved with this complaint will turn themselves into the police department or reach out and provide their information so that a full investigation can be conducted, however I believe the party's involved will not come forward and will remain hiding behind fake names and fake email addresses as they try to slander good people who are standing up in their community.

Once the investigation is completed and those involved are identified, I will pursue charges against those involved and take further legal action as needed because I will not allow my name or integrity to be slandered at the expense of people who obviously have ill intentions against those who stand up for what is right.

I also urge any resident of Atlantic City that has had similar retaliation or similar events occur to them to come forward and report those to the Atlantic City Police Department because I know that I am not the only person who is experiencing this retaliation for standing up for what is right, said Bailey.

Bailey will be our guest at 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, on WPG Talk Radio 95.5
