XXXXXXXX:
I have included XXXXXX XXXXXXXX on this since you spoke to him. In thinking about this issue over the weekend, I hope you realize the position that the Ocean Club will be in if Marty Small gets re-elected.
You are having an event at the Ocean Club inviting all of the Republican candidates including the Republican candidate for Mayor of Atlantic City, Small's opponent, to an event in one of the units of the Ocean Club belonging to a person whose name I absolutely refuse to mention.
There are people here in the OC who are democrats and are close to the mayor or are close to people he knows.
I guarantee you, he will know this event occurred. If he wins, I am sure that the Ocean Club will not be one of his favorite places in Atlantic City. This situation is crucial at this time with all of the construction events and other situations going on here.
Just stop and think of all of the requests that we will have to make to the city such as construction permits, inspections by Public Works department, fire inspections and the list goes on.
If he wins, and there is a good chance he will, as he is the incumbent, he can make life very difficult for us here and there is NOTHING we will be able to do about it.
Every position I have ever had, U. S. Marines, State Police, Casino Control Commission, Port Authority of NY & NJ and now working for the County, all had rules prohibiting me from getting involved in politics, but because of these positions and being so close to politics I consider myself a student of politics. I hope you realize the position you will have put us if Small wins.
The Ocean Club Condo should never be involved in politics,
You should have has this off site and not at the Ocean Club
