We have confirmed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was active in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.

I received word at 9:10 a.m. yesterday that the FBI was actively pursuing a man, who used to be employed by the City of Atlantic City.

He was hired by Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and we have confirmed that the man is a very close ally of Marty Small.

Specifically, the FBI went to a residence located across the street from the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are not going to reveal the name of the person of interest at this time … until the FBI confirms the matter publicly. They have not yet done so.

The FBI appears to have criminally charged the man … however, the FBI has not released any public information whatsoever regarding yesterday’s law enforcement action.

The criminal charges appear to involve tens of thousands of dollars illegally obtained during the COVID-19 pandemic … when relief funds were made available from a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Economic Injury Disaster loan program.

The City of Atlantic City criminal charges are piling-up as of late.

Previously, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has criminally charged:

MARTY SMALL is criminally charged with:

  • 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
  • 3rd degree aggravated assault
  • 3rd degree terroristic threats
  • disorderly persons simple assault.

LA'QUETTA SMALL is criminally charged with:

  • 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
  • 3 separate counts of disorderly persons simple assault.

CONSTANCE DAYS-CHAPMAN is criminally charged with:

  • second-degree Official Misconduct.
  • third-degree Hindering Apprehension of
  • Another.
  • fourth-degree Obstruction of Justice.
  • disorderly persons Failure to Report Child Abuse.

Days-Chapman has previously been suspended.

Many are in disbelief that LaQuetta Small has remained active as superintendent for more than two weeks since being criminally charged with serious child abuse offenses.

The Atlantic City Board of Education may take appropriate action versus La’Quetta at its next regular board meeting.

The Smalls’ first court appearance will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Days-Chapman recently waived her first court appearance. The Small’s will likely do the same.
