The second half of October proved to be a busy period for police officers in one South Jersey municipality.

According to data released by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, they responded to just over 3,200 calls for service between October 16th and 31st.

During that time, 42 people were arrested, there were 25 domestic violence calls, 547 motor vehicle stops where 258 tickets were written, 113 accidents, three homes were burglarized, and there were three vehicle burglaries.

Among those arrested were the following people:

  • October 16th: Bradford Jones, Pleasantville - outstanding warrant
  • October 16th: Carlos Hernandez, Egg Harbor Township - charged with aggravated assault
  • October 17th: Dawayne Roberts, Egg Harbor Township - outstanding warrant and charged with lewdness
  • October 17th: George Ross II, Galloway - charged with shoplifting
  • October 18th: Cesar Villaloboruiz, Northfield - charged with driving under the influence

The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
