
Camden, NJ, Man Arrested for Brother’s Murder
A Camden man has been arrested for allegedly fatally shooting his brother this past weekend.
28-year-old Anarkis Delgado has been charged with first-degree murder and related weapons offenses in the death of 29-year-old Raymond Delgado, also of Camden.
Shooting Incident Details
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says just after 11:00 Saturday morning, officers with the Camden County Police Department responded to the 500 block of Pearl Street for a report of someone who had been shot.
At the scene, cops found Raymond Delgado on the sidewalk. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead less than 90 minutes later.
Investigation Leads to Arrest
During their investigation, detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office's Homicide Unit and the Camden County Police Department determined Anarkis Delgado was allegedly responsible for the shooting. He later surrendered to police and was taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
