Atlantic County Republican Party Chairman Don Purdy has issued a stern warning to anyone who is preparing to vote fraudulently in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

In a wide-ranging, on-air interview, Purdy dropped the gauntlet on people who don’t live in Atlantic City … yet, have been voting in past and potentially future Atlantic City elections.

“We’re watching you,” said Purdy. The Buck stops here. We will put a private investigator on you,” said Purdy.

Purdy is also a member of the Atlantic County Board of Elections.

Purdy discussed the recent case of former Atlantic City Councilman, Muhammad 'Anjum’ Zia.

New Jersey Superior Court Judge Michael Blee recently removed Zia from office, when he found in favor of plaintiff Maria Lacca.

Blee ruled that Zia does not live in Atlantic City and that he did not live in Atlantic City when he was elected to Atlantic City Council.

Purdy discussed examples of potentially 10 people being registered at the same address in a “1,000 square foot residence,” said Purdy.

The ramifications of voting from a city where you do not really live can be significant. For example, this November 5, 2024 is a general election, featuring presidential and congressional candidates… Making it a federal election.

A potential fraudulent voter would have implications at the local, county, state and federal levels.

Numerous Atlantic City Council members and others have maintained that Zia did not live in Atlantic City for years.

It took Lacca’s case and a courageous Judge Blee to bring justice regarding Zia.

The Zia verdict will help prevent other voter fraud that has been taking place for years.

It will serve as a deterrent, in light of the fact that multiple legal controlling authorities have their eye focused on this issue at this time.

Purdy’s sobering comments about this issue will prove to be very helpful to combat potential voter fraud in Atlantic City and elsewhere.
