Man Found Dead on Absecon, NJ, Roadside; Police Seek Tips

Authorities in Atlantic County are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a man who was found dead along a roadside this past weekend.

Body Found Along S. Shore Road

The Absecon Police Department says at about 6:00 Sunday evening, their officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a person lying on the shoulder of a road in the area of S. Shore Road near Iowa Avenue, which is about 1/3-mile south of Route 30.

At the scene, cops found a deceased adult man with visible signs of trauma.

Officials did not offer a description or any information about the victim.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Absecon Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
