Two Eagles Players Voted The Best By NFL Players

For NFL Players, being selected to an All-Pro Team is one of the highest honors. This adds to the player's resumes who are in conversations for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and some players earn bonuses from this recognition.

For the 2024 NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles have six players who were selected to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games Roster.  Players such as Linebacker Zack Baun earned a bonus for receiving this honor, which is voted on by fans, players, and coaches around the NFL.

However, receiving All-Pro recognition is a more exclusive category because there are not multiple players from a position group who can make the list. These honors delineate who voters think are the best players at that position from the rest of the league.

Two Eagles Players Recognized By Their Peers As The Best In The NFL

The NFL Players Association collects votes from every active player in the league on who they think are the best players at each position.

Players are asked to vote for their position group and the position groups they directly compete against. Players cannot vote for themselves or their teammates, making this voting process as unbiased as possible.

Saquon Barkley and Jalen Carter are the two Eagles players who were voted the best at their positions by other NFL Players:

In his first year with the Eagles, Barkley became the ninth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards and was the league leader in Rushing Yards. The 27-year-old Running Back is considered a candidate for this season's NFL MVP Award.

Jalen Carter has taken a major step forward in his first season under Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio. The 23-year-old Defensive Lineman was the most double-team player in the NFL this season and led the Eagles with 16 Quarterback Hits plus 12 Tackles for Loss.
