Report: Milton Williams Set To Leave Eagles For Patriots
With the NFL legal tampering period starting on Monday, it appears the Philadelphia Eagles have lost one of their key free agents, defensive tackle Milton Williams.
According to multiple reports, Williams will be landing with the New England Patriots, getting an average of $26 million per season for the next four years with $63 million guaranteed and the potential to make $104 million.

Williams had a tremendous season for the Eagles, generating a career-best 40 pressures and also added five sacks. The former third-round pick had his stock rise even higher, with two sacks, a forced and a fumble recovery in the team's Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Overall, the 25-year-old has played in 67 games, making 132 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and 29 QB hits over his first four seasons in the league.
With Williams gone, Josh Sweat and Makhi Becton are the Eagles' top two free agents, along with CB Isaiah Rodgers, another name to keep an eye on. The team will have to look at replacing Williams in-house with a player like defensive tackle Moro Ojomo or Thoams Booker IV or Gabe Hall, who was a former third-round pick of the Raiders and spent the 2024 season on the Eagles' practice squad.
