Former Wildwood Catholic star Jahlil White has entered the transfer portal and is leaving Temple.

White, from the Whitesboro section of Middle Township, averaged 10.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in 26 games for the Owls this season.

He made the announcement via Instagram on Tuesday.

"After carefully considering my options with my family, I've decided to enter my name into the transfer portal as a graduate transfer".

In 86 career games, White has averaged 7.8 points, 1.7 assists and 5.5 rebounds in 86 games.

While at Wildwood Catholic, he averaged 16.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game, helping the Crusaders to a third straight Cape-Atlantic League Tournament title and the South Jersey, Non-Public B crown. As a junior, White averaged 18.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

White in the second player from Wildwood Catholic to leave Temple after the 2023-24 season, with Taj Thweatt also announcing he was leaving the Owls. Thweatt spent the past two years at Temple, but made little impact after coming over from West Virginia, scoring just 0.7 points and 1.5 rebounds in 5.3 minutes per game for the Owls.

Thweatt scored 1,773 points and grabbed 1,028 rebounds for the Crusaders.
