The NFL trade deadline has become a more popular day in recent years, with teams actually swamping players to try to improve their roster.

This year, the deadline is Nov. 4, and we all know that Eagles Vice-President of Football Operations and General Manager Howie Roseman is always willing to pick up the phone to try to improve the team, and this year should be no different.

While the team could look to add an edge rusher, cornerback, or maybe even some offensive line depth, there has been plenty of speculation surrounding wide receiver AJ Brown this week, following his cryptic social media post following the team's win over Tampa Bay.

Could the Eagles Actually Move A.J. Brown?

Sports Illustrated NFL writers Matt Verderame and Gilberto Manzano listed one trade each team should make at this year's trade deadline, and the Eagles' one included Brown heading to Denver in exchange for a third-round pick and wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr.

Sports Illustrated’s Proposed Trade to Denver: A.J. Brown to Broncos for third-round pick, WR Marvin Mims Jr.

As for the team, perhaps the cap relief and the Day 2 pick will aid the Eagles in the long run, because it’s difficult for the good teams to pay everyone.

Brown has struggled this season to make much of an impact outside of the team's Week 3 win over the LA Rams, but we know he can take over a game at any time.

Would a Brown Trade Help or Hurt Eagles’ Super Bowl Hopes?

Would getting a Day 2 draft pick and a player like Mims keep the Eagles in Super Bowl contention?

Hurts throwing to DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Mims isn’t good enough for the Eagles to capture back-to-back Super Bowls.

This is a deal I am not interested in.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Brown's contract comes with a dead cap hit of nearly $90 million, which makes moving him very difficult, but he says the team could do it and designate it as a post-June 1 trade, so it could be something they look at in the offseason.

Also, per Fowler:  It's sort of the worst-kept secret inside the league that Brown's love-hate relationship with Philly's passing game bubbles to the surface from time to time.

Brown did speak on Wednesday, essentially saying that he let his frustrations get the best of him, and that Philly is where he wants to be, and he considers it his home - I guess until the next time he gets frustrated in his role with the offense.
